Reiki & Sound Healing Ireland is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to exceed the requirements of:
Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications (Web Accessibility Directive)
WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
Current Compliance Status
An internal accessibility audit has been conducted against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria.
Most pages and features are fully compliant.
Identified issues include:
Some images lacking fully descriptive alt attributes.
Form controls requiring enhanced ARIA labelling for clarity.
Ongoing & Planned Remediation
Alt-text improvements: All graphical content will receive comprehensive alt descriptions by 30 June 2025.
ARIA enhancements: Form elements and interactive widgets will be updated to include proper ARIA labels by 31 May 2025.
Content & Functional Exceptions
Legacy video content published prior to April 2025 may not yet include full captions or transcripts; these will be added in a phased rollout.
Downloadable PDFs are being reformatted into accessible HTML or tagged PDF; updates will continue throughout 2025.
