Reiki Level 1 Course – Foundations with Marta: grounded breath, practical sequences and respectful session closure for coherent learning at Level 1–3.

Reiki Level 1 Course – Foundations

Level 1 foundations are about building a rhythm that real life can carry. I teach you to anchor practice in minutes, not hours: short arrivals, a complete but gentle self‑treatment, and clean closings that signal the day can move on. We explore how modern life shows up in the body—jaw tension from screens, tight shoulders from stress, a belly that forgets to soften—and we pair these with basic placements that let breath lengthen and attention settle. The course structure is simple and supportive. Day one: introduction to ethics, consent and confidentiality; arrivals; hand placements; the five principles as daily actions; how to keep notes that remain useful, not obsessive. Day two: review, full self‑treatment with adaptations, supportive routines for busy days and for sleep, and a practical overview of boundaries at home. You’ll learn what “enough” feels like so you do not overwork—warmer hands, softer eyes, steadier focus—and you will always end with a tidy close. I provide clear guidance for the first four weeks after training. You’ll create a sustainable plan: five minutes most mornings, a longer session twice a week, and an early night after those longer sessions if possible. We include a short “reset” for commutes and corridors, and a seated option for days when lying down is not comfortable. You’ll keep notes on sleep quality, mood steadiness and concentration so the changes become obvious. This is not about collecting experiences; it is about building steadiness you can trust. You will also learn how to talk about Reiki responsibly. I show you phrases that make sense to colleagues and family—no jargon, no promises of cures. We practise kindly declining requests when you are tired or when a situation belongs with another professional, and we rehearse a simple signposting script. The goal of Level 1 foundations is not to turn you into a practitioner. It is to help you care for yourself and show up with warm, calm attention for the people you love. Practice notes: keep language ordinary, avoid forcing, and let the exhale lead timing. Design short versions for busy days and fuller sessions when the system softens. Close cleanly every time and keep a brief note on sleep, mood and focus so change is visible. If emotions swell during integration, slow the rhythm, hydrate and ground for a few days. When scope is exceeded, signpost to appropriate support; this protects both giver and receiver. Distance methods are always framed with consent, preparation, timing and aftercare. How is your Level 1 course structured over the two days?

Day one focuses on ethics, arrivals and placements; day two refines self‑treatment, boundaries and realistic routines.

Do I need to feel heat or tingling for the practice to be working?

No. Look for ordinary signs—slower exhale, softer shoulders, steadier mood—rather than dramatic sensations.

How do I explain Reiki responsibly to family or colleagues?

Use plain English, avoid promises and describe steps and aftercare: water, rest and a tidy close.
