Usui Lineage taught by Marta: grounded breath, attentive hands and practical sequences with tidy session closure and kind ethics.

Usui Lineage

Lineage is the story of how a method is cared for. In the Usui tradition I hold, my job is to keep the work clean, practical and human—so that what I pass on is trustworthy. I do not collect titles. I maintain standards: clear openings and closings, consent and confidentiality, pacing that follows the body rather than a script, and language that ordinary people understand. Attunements are quiet and respectful; symbols are tools of attention, not trophies; the five principles guide conduct, not performance. In training we make lineage visible. You’ll see it in how I structure sessions and in how I ask you to practise—short daily work, not heroic bursts; reflective notes, not constant analysis; enough rest to keep the system bright. You will learn to plan series work without pressure, to adapt placements for mobility and comfort, and to communicate boundaries with kindness. When a situation sits outside scope, you will signpost confidently. This is not a dilution of Reiki; it is respect for people’s lives. We trace the history briefly so you know where this stream of practice comes from, then return to what matters: how it behaves in the room today. I encourage questions and scepticism alike; the method should withstand plain conversation. Distance support is presented with preparation, timekeeping and aftercare so that sensitivity does not tip into overwhelm. We keep records that protect privacy and allow for continuity of care. We build a vocabulary that works in community settings, not only in quiet studios. What you are receiving through lineage is not a museum piece but a living culture of attention. If you train with me you will be asked for steadiness more than spectacle, kindness more than cleverness, and honest application more than theory. Your certificate marks a milestone; your conduct is the lineage in action. That is what I promise to pass on and what I ask you to carry. Further practice notes: keep language ordinary, avoid rushing, and let breath lead timing. Design shorter sessions for tense days, and fuller routines when the system softens. Close cleanly, hydrate, and rest to anchor change. Further practice notes: keep language ordinary, avoid rushing, and let breath lead timing. Why does Usui lineage matter in modern Reiki training?

It carries responsibility—clear ethics, trusted methods and plain language—so the work stays human and reliable.

How is lineage reflected in the way you teach sessions?

Through standards: clean openings and closings, consent, pacing led by the body, and notes that respect privacy.

Does lineage change how attunements are offered?

Yes. Attunements are quiet, respectful and supported with preparation and aftercare—never a performance.
