21-Day Self-Healing Cleanse After Reiki Level 2

This past weekend at Reiki & Sound Healing Ireland in Drogheda, Co. Louth, I welcomed a wonderful group of women who completed their Reiki Level 2 training. This level marks a deeper step into Reiki practice, opening the practitioner to emotional, mental and spiritual healing on a more advanced level.

What made this training especially meaningful was how far the students travelled to be here. One arrived from Dundalk, one from Cavan, and one travelled all the way from Galway. It’s a reminder that when someone feels called to deepen their healing, distance in Ireland becomes irrelevant. What Happens After a Reiki Level 2 Attunement

Following the attunement, students begin a natural process of energetic clearing and integration. Reiki Level 2 works more deeply than Level 1, often bringing forward emotions, old patterns and intuitive insights that are ready to be released.

Because of this, all of my Level 2 students begin a 21-day self-healing cleanse immediately after their training.

Why the Cleanse Lasts 21 Days

Twenty-one days is the traditional integration period for the energetic shifts that take place after attunement. During this time, the practitioner moves through three stages:

Week 1 – Physical detox

The body adjusts, rest deepens, and the nervous system begins to calm and reorganise.

Week 2 – Emotional release

Emotions may rise, insights appear, and the practitioner becomes more aware of what needs to be healed.

Week 3 – Spiritual alignment

Intuition strengthens, clarity increases, and the connection with Reiki becomes more natural and grounded.
